...every single term. so everyone that wants to scrap the electoral college is either dumb or mis-educated.

simply stated - it exists to force candidates to appeal to rural states, not only states with big cities. it dilutes the power of big states over small states in popular votes.

with the popular vote, new york city, los angeles & chicago voters would decide the election, every single time. candidates would simply campaign in cities only. there would be no point in even having a vote...just appeal to the city voters, to hell with the farmers.

this was the exact dymanic in the 13 colonies that led to the creation of it...no different than today.

& it was hilarys elitist neglect of the heartland that caused the heartland to revolt. the founding fathers were wise.

so suck it up libs. our founding fathers foresaw your desire for tyranny through direct democracy, & thwarted it. you need to win wisconson, not just california, to be president.

educate yourselves on our great country, instead of sounding like ignorant liberal stooges. & try to appeal to the heartland, not just the big city taker class.

just look a county by county tally of the popular vote in pennsyvania, or new york. all of the rural territory is GOP red, but the cities are blue.

& there are so many more voters in the cities, they dominate the final tally for the state. something is needed to prevent city voters to dominate the presidency.

thats why you get electoral voters, not popular voters, to decide the president. small states matter, & thats the way it should be.

if you dont like it, then move silicon valley to wisonson. or else, suck it up.

considering all the city voters that preferred a felon over a successful businessman, its obvious that a majority of city voters are dumb dupes to the liberal media. big city liberals dont care about laws. most of the crime in this country is from urban liberals. all the big crime stats correlate directly to liberal run cities. chicago. baltimore. los angles. where liberals dominate, so does crime. all the political violence in 2016 is from urban liberals. fact.

hey libs...how many local, state, & national elections must you lose before you realize that voters hate fake identity politics, which is the highest priority of obamas democrat party. calling everyone racist plays in compton, plays in harlem.

doesnt play anywhere else. obamas democrats have lost the most seats in american history. obama only has high approvals because he is a pretty black man. that sells in new york, but not outside the cities.

btw it's quite contradictory that voters from big cities, who ought to be more 'developed' mentally than some local pig farmer, are in fact the most easy to brainwash to keep voting for what the establishment wants. In every western capitol or big city this is the same: For example people in Amsterdam are also always voting for the establishment while most of the rest of the country is awake.
