The best horror film in years. It has an effect near the end (you'll know it when it happens) that will have you jumping out of your skin.

Supposed to be filmed in Seattle or something. I heard it sucked and am not planning on seeing it. :)

Just watched it last night. I liked it. Was different than the typical horror bullshit.

the ring is an awesome movie. Im sorry some of you dont have the attention span for it.

Man that movie just brought back a very scary memory :( . Right after the movie ended, I got off my bed and right as my foot was on the floor, my telephone rang and I jumped! Yeah you guessed it, I didn't answer the phone =p . I didnt leave my bed for about 30 minutes.. I was home alone heehehe

Reminds me (though this will emphasize my age) that I rented Alien and watched it for the first time while home alone. I have never been terribly affected by horror films, but I really reached the point with this one that I stopped the tape so I could watch the end the next morning when it was light outside.

I still think the monster in Alien is by far the scariest creature ever created for the movies. I also think that Alien is the scariest movie ever made.

As one critic explained, in the guise of a sci-fi movie, Alien is really a haunted house story set in the future.

Alien is good entertainment but far from scary.

Dawn of the Dead

I never saw Dawn of the Dead. But Day of the Dead was completely hilarious. They should categorize it as comedy.
