I never said that Saddam's regime is cool. But you aren't Kuwait, Iran, Turkey, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, or Isreal, you aren't punching him back. Saddam hasn't attacked you, and hasn't the capability of attacking you, so the whole "preemptive strike" scenario is just so much bullshit.

If, with your republican administration, you decide that it's bad that soft drugs are legal here in Holland, and that it's perfectly legal to have sex with a 17-year-old girl, and that it's OK to have gay marriages, and that carrying firearms is illegal, are you going to come and liberate us as well?

And notice how this war went from "disarming Saddam & destroying weapons of mass destruction" to "liberating the Iraqi people"! Even the code name admitted we are NOT after the terrorists who attacked us!

But when the dust has settled (and it may be a long time before that happens), we will have found we made a whopping big waiting line for men & women to join Bin Laden's army!

Now that we have "won" the war..do YOU or any other American feel safer? TRULY? Honestly?

Oh, about the link between al-Qaeda and Saddam, if I'm not mistaken, al-Qaeda fighters were found fighting the US in some Iraqi city. :thumbsup
