You're kidding right?? America has almost 800 military bases all over the world in 70 different countries.

That IS the definition of an Empire.

Most people that live here don't know or care, but make no mistake, we are an Empire.

IF China or Russia had 800 military bases all over the world how would you feel?

Having a military base in a country does not give the US authority over that country. The bases are there with the permission of the countries and the US pays them to be there.

That is not an empire at all.
