Why would they cover their ass, are the reporters covering the soldier's back? I don't think they are.

This happened in the airport raid. A humvee drove into a river. The driver, a soldier (I'm assuming army), died also. |

This is war.. not a fucking contest... I forgot where, but someone said the networks are treating this war like a fucking game show:feels-hot
|
Second such embeded death I do believe, the first was in the north to the first car bombing incident at a US checkpoint.
|
It is sick how the media is treating this as the ulitmate reality show. People are being hurt, dying and the effects of this will last years.
Cant wait til election time. Goodbye Republican party. |
Holy shit! Read this article about the POW that was rescued the other day. Supposedly some Iraqi lawyer helped plan the whole thing out. Fuckin' amazing!

This is the big brother war. also, I know they weren't embedded but UK and Australian journalists have already been killed. |
I wonder if they suppress news to the troops in the field. If not, it is amazing that Geraldo didn't get fragged.
You tell the enemy where I am located, you just tried to kill me, IMHO. Geraldo should be brought up on charges of treason, and it might be cool if the troops filed a civil class action lawsuit on his skank ass. I stopped watching the news coverage of the war. They are treating it like a fucking Survivor knock-off. I personally think there should be a media blackout, and then they tell them what the want them to know when it's all done. Fuck all this access to the press. |
People die in wars?
|
the only thing better than the reality tv shows like cnn and msnbc are the ones in other countries, where free press doesn't exist. it is even better when free press doesn't exist and the people who live there are convinced it does. by many news sources there is no war in iraq, just terrorists from the US, or the iraqis are kicking our asses, or everyone in afghanistan is dead.
but then, it makes you wonder, how much is "Freedom of Press" worth when the people who own a news station and run it are democrats who would like nothing more than to see their soft money go to work next election year with some favorable legislation? i come from a military family... i (and most everyone else i affiliate with) believe that there shouldn't be any journalists in iraq. it risks the lives of our soldiers and it's a huge crisis every time one of the fuckers dies when they stand up in a fire fight. :2 cents: |

Shit's just trying to stir up a bunch of cocktards (tired of fucktard) to strap on a few bombs and hop in the van and head for Iraq. |
