I would like the background of this image nicely removed, ( professionally ) . so that i can use it on a web site design i am working on. Basicly the background should be transparent once its removed.

please dont cut off the chair, chair stays.

Please dont attempt to do it if you are a newbie, i'd rather have someone who is experienced do it.

save the image as a .tif .psd or .png whichever is the best quality.

well thanks for trying but i really need someone professional to neatly do it flawlessly go through the hard portions like the hair area and etc. cutting it with a cut tool isnt that hard. perfection is the key here. to show off your perfection & professionalism , make sure the background is multi colored when you post it here so i know you didnt just put a white glow to fade away the mistakes made

Nope, it is unknown what the background color i will be using. but i am sure if there is a true professional out there, they can nicely remove the background without cutting off any particals of the hair which would look just perfect on any type of background. it's got to be possible

Not as a gif format. It can be done as an eps with a clipping path and then you can put it on the color background you decide to use in photoshop, then turn it into a gif.

But, do you think a "true professional" (as you put it), is going to stop what they're doing, and waste any time on you, for a lousy $10 or $15?

Here's a tip, if you want someone to do flawless cutout, don't give them a source file in .jpg format, unless it's lossless, which your's isn't.

I wont even load photoshop for $10

i'm not an expert mask artist but yes it does matter what the color(s) of the new background are going to be. When you're talking about preserving wispy, semi transparent hair you can't do one mask to fit all new backgrounds u might use. Not with this girl's hair anyway.
