I think that's where he went to get one. One of the nicest guys I have ever met, just got crucified by the wrong woman.

With most countries using RFID chips in their passports, it's very unlikely, nearly impossible to "buy" a passport for "travelling" - illegal passports can be bought but they will not have working RFID chips, so you would either have to sell the story of why your RFID chip doesn't work (scary/not guaranteed) or risk being investigated/locked up for ID fraud, this also means altering a legitimate passports information would cause issues if the info was cross checked with the info in the RFID chip (biometrics are kept in the RFID chip, including a picture and fingerprint of the actual passport holder)

Thinking that with 2,000$-5,000$-10,000$ will be able to get you a legitimate passport, like in the movies, will end with you getting locked up for passport fraud and for whatever other reason you needed a fake passport in the first place
