What is going on ?

I've gotten that e-mail :

This e-mail contains your invoice and information related to a recent change in our domain name that requires a DNS change on your end if you are using our DNS servers.

On March 27, the domain name cologroup.com was stolen from our former CTO, Myles Clinton. We attempted to get the domain name back, but are unable to do so without a legal battle that would take months. We have always operated under the name Hosting FM Corporation, but used cologroup.com as our domain name. The domain name and e-mail addresses have been changed, here is a list of the changes:

#1 Company Domain name is now: pimpshost.com
#2 DNS servers are: dns1.pimpshost.com & dns2.pimpshost.com
#3 Server Stats are at monitor.pimpshost.com
#4 Support e-mail is: [email protected]
#5 PayPal e-mail: [email protected]

If you use our DNS servers, please update them to the new ones. If you have any questions, please contact us.

This cologroup ownership crap is really getting out of hand. My 2 cents to anyone still left there is to move your site pretty damm quick, before they get frozen and shut down during a legal battle between the 2 geeks that say they both own it.

The domain was stolen. Myles transferred it from Network Solutions to Tucows, so Network Solutions could not get it back and it would be a big hassle to fight a legal battle and get the domain back. Also, I had used the domain cologroup.com as an entity under my corporation, but Myles went and registered Cologroup.com as its own corporation in Nevada. When he stole the domain name, there was little I could do to get it back.

The company is fine, business is great for us, and it is unfortunate that we had to deal with this crap. Our service has been reliable and from what I know our customers have been happy. I dont know what else to say besides that.

... been hosting with Myles Clinton since the day he stole the domain, rock solid company now ... but I´d stay away from pimphost, Myles has some more things planed ... watch out ... this ain´t over yet !!!
