2 Questions about Operation: Iraqi Freedom

So exactly how many rabbit holes with weapons of mass destruction did the allied forces find yet?

And why does it seem to me like the US doesn't give a shit about Osama bin Laden anymore?

Well, I'm assuming you won't accept an American news source as information. So I won't even bother to answer this...

Hint: Check the front page of CNN.

Furthermore, I believe it was just last week that Special Forces in Afghanistan found over 20,000 pounds of explosives and other weapons inside a cave like opening.

Plus, just the other day an American troop died fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan.

But of course, nobody knows this stuff unless you read news closely or are specifically looking for information.

And to answer this question...

If you had weapons of mass destruction and you knew 140,000 trained soldiers with big weapons were pissed off and hunting you down, what would you do? Hide the weapons out in the middle of the desert where they'll do no good, or hold them close by your side for when you'll need them?

The weapons serve a purpose, and it sure as hell isn't to look pretty.

It's quite simple, it's fucking George Bush who started calling chem and bio weapons, weapons of mass destruction. Damn near half the world has them so it's a dumbass rationale. Saddam doesn't have any nukes and he wouldn't get any in the near future, however Iran sure has a nuclear reactor or two and they are chugging away on some bombs with the help of Russia, China and N Korea.

It appears that the Agriculture in Afghanistan is really pretty shitty. Between the various wars in Afghanistan that have been underway over the years and severe drought spreading across many decades, the land is in very poor shape.

A good chunk of their food comes from aid and other imports. Maybe that will begin to change over the upcoming years, as a more stable and legitimate government comes into place.

Gutterboy 04-03-2003 03:18 PM

George Bush is going to liberate the Iraqi's even if he has to kill every last one of them to do it.

FATPad 04-03-2003 03:26 PM

Well, Sly, you managed to kill another thread by posting some relevant links. I hope you're proud of yourself.
