Sponsor Tactics for the Slow Summer Season
 

Time to get into gear guys. Summer is coming in a few months. So since everyone always complains about how slow sales are in the Summer, why don't you sponsor guys start scheming ways on how to get more joins for the hot season. I'm not saying boost the payouts to $100/PS (which I'd never object to, just think it's business suicide), but how about incentives for the webmasters (even more, just for this season) to promote your program harder during the Summer.

I work with a lot of casino programs, and since they have more cash on hand, they've upped their payouts to roughly $250-$350 per player. Can't go wrong with that, but what about the adult industry, there has to be some new ideas out there that can spark a shitload of webmasters to run over to your program!

I'm stil a newbie. I have heard mixed reviews about the summer season. Some say it increases because more people are home from school. Others say that it decreases because nobodys sitting at their computer. What should I expect?

I think the summer slow down used to be more true back in the day. Now conversions are shitty the whole year. But the only times it seems to be bad are when people get their xmas credit card bill, and when college kids are taking finals.

Summer slows down probably because of choice number two, less people home sitting at their computer. Or perhaps most of the perverts that buy the memberships are outside trying to get laid there. Summer is slow for both Casino and Adult, hence the reason to start this thread. Maybe we'll see some responses to it once summer is closer.

Does anyone know how much it slows? 25% 50% or what?

Travel is way down. More people are staying at home and spending their time online. So I think this will be a great summer for us.

quite often in the summer periods, *it* will drop up to 95%... bandwidth costs also start going up the deeper you get into the summer months, tapering back down to a level only 10% more than the beginning of the summer by september..

What sponsors have high retention? Most sites are crap on the inside and I find that people cancel asap on most sites.

Of course there are always people who do that, but we have very good experience with partnerships in our program.

Movie or hardcore sites with good retention woud be nice. I have seen 90% cancel rate
