205mph electric Corvette, would you buy one

Well, it certainly looks like an amazing car, but would I buy one if I had $750,000!

I'd rather have that Voxel Vectra that goes 0-60 in 1 second flat. No one's going to go 205mph...

omg, that's superb acceleration, have you a youtube clip?

The Corvette sounds like an airplane or rocket flying past :2 cents:

I'm guessing the sound is a supercharger. They sound like a high powered air tool. :upsidedow

Wow very cool - and I fucking love the sound !!!

I now easily see 8 or 9 electric cars on the road during any trip. I can't wait to see that the majority of cars are electric. I would *LOVE* to see GM make and sell an electric corvette. If they ever built an electric Camaro, or gasp!, an electric Firebird, I would buy one. ICE is history.

RyuLion 10-14-2016 09:48 AM

Hell yeah, I'd hit it! :)

CurrentlySober 10-14-2016 10:09 AM

I wouldn't buy one but would certainly steal one if it was left unattended overnight

Rochard 10-14-2016 10:52 AM

What's the point - everyone sits in the same traffic.

CDSmith 10-14-2016 12:39 PM

I honestly don't care how fast the damn thing goes, just tell me how FAR you can go on a charge.

Spunky 10-14-2016 01:32 PM

Sweet ride indeed but way over priced

poncabare 10-14-2016 02:40 PM

only corvette I ever liked, was the original model

Absolutely! The sound is astonishing! & yes, they are certainly becoming the new form of transport on the roads :thumbsup

no way, on the open road, a car that does 200 plus feels like it's cruising at 100 :2 cents:

Agreed, so expensive, but like everything, I would have thought it will only be about 10 years before these cars are down to $100,000 :2 cents:

The problem is you rarely get to do 100 mph, and when you do you risk getting a hefty ticket. My point was when you are the freeway in bumper to bumper traffic doing 5 mph, your car really isn't any faster than any other car.

Doing things like going grocery shopping at 3am and not having to worry about rush hour traffic is more fun. :thumbsup :upsidedow

I live in LA and very often am able to do well over 100 in my cars....

Not worth it @ 750K IMO

US to UK must be totally different. When we had our skyline, cruising at 120mph was a usual speed, but most of all, a car that does 200, especially electric will pass a dithering 50mph car with ease, creating smoother flowing roads, less stop, start when queues appear ahead :thumbsup

Right, I'd rather get 2 Ferrari's, 2 Lamborghini's and a new BMW to drive around in instead for the same price.. :upsidedow

rogueteens 10-15-2016 08:47 AM

Nope, I couldn't bring myself to even sit in a corvette

People who drive Corvettes around here have a bad stereotype of being perverts and cheaters for some reason. Is that the same around the world?.. :upsidedow

I don't know about that, I just know that they are bloody ugly cars with a reputation of driving as ugly as they look.

I don't sit in freeway traffic really. I work from home and don't commute.

Colmike, The problem with Corvettes, as many US cars, they were bad at cornering! The suspensions were obviously designed for American straight roads, where in Europe the roads are very windy, so cornering is essential :2 cents:

PornDiscounts-V 10-15-2016 09:58 AM

I'd rather help 25 Syrian families settle here in the US.

We have different opinions on what's beautiful.
