this is just a guess but it's not too far off.

I doubt he could do credit card processing for under 10% after you consider the salaries of the people he has doing that for him.

Lars pays less upfront but a LOT more than MOST over time - and doesn't screw around the customer or anyone who promotes him.

i can list 2 dozen HIGH PROFILE people in this industry that will have NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS to say about Lars... be interesting if you, Brujah, can say the same...............I doubt it.

Every time I've visited a cam site the girls seem to spend 50 minutes per hour without a paying customer.

Pornication in its heyday, now those girls were doing private shows all the time. I've been on CGL a few times, didn't see a girl get a private show. When did Legendary Lars buy Steamray? I remember that software before it was in adult, it was called the HelloNetwork. I called and asked them about adult usage - oh my god you should have heard what kind of money they were asking for - crazy money.

lars's program is in a TON of paysites members areas......... more than most other programs

We lowerd the payouts to the girls in order to up the pay to webmasters ! To remain competative in the industry. I wont slam anyone as thats not my style. But we have models that make more on our system than any other and at the same time have models who make more on other systems. Most models now work cameras on all systems at the same time and so its kinda a moot point ! Business models change over time with the change in traffic models and competiton change is good :)

i know 5 personally who paid 5k per lisc to stream. now that is per stream. if you want 5 studios its 5k per

the payout was 70% because you paid the 5k

then the did away with the lisc. and changed the payout to 50%

so anyone who had a 70% lisc was fucked

now they get 35%

i have 3 lisc owners on icq right now talking about this and 1 is going to vs in 2 weeks so lars is going to loose a good size studio owner because he keeps ripping them off

Yeah we used to do a fair amount of stuff through Lars too and he was always honest with us. He's definitely been a force in the industry a long time, and he's got a hella lot of stuff. If his wedding photos are any indication, he's DEFINITELY not hurting for cash lol.

as I said in my letter I expect some people to leave. Sales will remain the same and so those that are still there will make the same or more than they did before. Yes before I bought the company they sold licences for 1 Year at a time. I honored all those licences till the end of 2 years and then moved to 50%. 70% was not a model you could survive with. And now 50% is not a model you can survive with.

I'm glad you raised payouts to webmasters -- I was sending lots of traffic and I just couldn't make money with it... The "rentention" is great but the payout was just not competitive... When did these rates change? I may try it again and see if I can make more sales...

I paid 2000 dollars for the stream in ( I think it was 1999 January) they just introduced it than. They had so many problems than urgh.

After 6 month we had enough, the streams didn't work right, the customers had problems, we had lots of problems. So after the year was up they asked us for a renewel fee of $ 150.00. Than it was sold. So we paid and more problems, stream upgrades, etc etc

However I must say that we did make great money when we were online in 1999. After 2000 we didn't pay the renewel fee anymore.

Geez I wonder if my stream is still good.

I always liked Hellonetwork, Streamray, Lars, etc.. I was with Daypass before HelloNetwork.

I have actually 28 cam "ho"s on my website all linking eventually to Tricams (a couple to IF also) but the major portion of the traffic is sent to TC as they have the best payouts for the us.

so as long as my traffic goes to video i get paid too as well as shaking my phat ass on cam.
