Greenguy's March 2003 Stats Released

I just uploaded my stats for March 2003 & I must say that Adult Platinum did very well as always:

Wild and Ready - #2 overall money per click reality site
Mardi Gras Uncut - #3 overall money per click reality site
Super Hot Blondes - #2 overall money per click softcore site
Take off Your Bikini - #3 overall money per click voyeur site

To see all the results, please check out GreenguyStats.com - http://www.greenguystats.com/

bad link.
heres the corrected one

justsexxx 04-03-2003 08:46 AM

www.greenguystats.com btw:) Anyway, question, I see your stats, but for example PB shows 1:89 is that 1:89 on second page hit(as shown in their stats) or 1:89 according to your hitcount out?

SpaceAce 04-03-2003 08:59 AM

Also, the numbers are kind of meaningless without knowing how many actual clicks were sent. I mean 1:20 looks good, but if you only sent 20 clicks and got one freak signup...

SpaceAce

DarkJedi 04-03-2003 09:06 AM

don't program owners pay you to make conversions look pretty ?
(thats what i heard)

greenguy 04-03-2003 09:23 AM

Andre - I go by the sponsors stats basically because it'd be too hard this late in the game for me to start tracking all the sponsors :( If the sponsor does offer 2 totals (raw & unique) I do of course use the higher of the 2 :)

SpaceAce - while it is true that I do get luck on some of them, it's still 20 hits & 1 sale :)
(plus, if I included clicks, then my income would be right out there for everyone with a calculator to see)

DarkJedi - no, that is completely false - the only money I get is by using referral codes
(but I'm not upset that you asked, as I am asked that question at least once a month - LOL)

20 hits:1 sale is 20:1 as you say, but it is still not statistically significant. If it is a freak 1:20 signup ratio it can't be counted on.

I guess if you're that concerned about your income being secret, I can understand. But I think we all know you make: a lot. Maybe you would consider a "Hits sent:" range (0-1,000. 1,001-3,000) or something. If it had something like that it would be very useful and could definitely attract bookmarks from people like me who use a lot of sponsors :thumbsup

How would someone get you to add a sponsor program to your mix?:thumbsup

I have to be in this thread... First time I've seen Greenguy post on GFY!

...history in the making.

greenguy 04-03-2003 09:45 AM

SpaceAce - I've been thinking of a few options, one is that I'll only posts stats of sites that had 2 or more sales (which would probably cut the list in 1/2 - LOL) I can say that a majority of the sites - around 90% were sent less then 1000 hits.

Wizzo - right now I am only listing programs that pay per sign up & have webmaster referral codes - I was listing partnership programs, but the per click totals end up being way off compared to the per sign up programs.

TheFLY - I've posted here a couple of time, but this place moves way to fast for me to keep up - LOL - so I usually read a few threads & comment if I have anything intelligent to say :)

That would be nice. Three sales might be even better, but even "Sites having at least two sales" would give us some idea. You might increase the number of webmasters who sign up under you if they think great ratios are more than a fluke.

What is the point of this thread?

greenguy 04-03-2003 10:08 AM

madxxx - things are going just ducky for me :)

SpaceAce - check your ICQ :)

burn - the thread started out with me posting some of my stats form ASdult Platinum & as it usually does when I post stuff like that, it turned into a Q & A ;-)

fnet 04-03-2003 10:51 AM

GreenGuy,

I'm glad to see you posting here.

I don't know how many experienced webmasters here are in tune with the particular stats you have up. You are trying to talk to people with heavy traffic, right? All of those people have tried at least a few programs, have heard wild numbers on many, and have looked around at what other people use. Just a few people here have tried many dozens of programs (particularly people with review sites, or who deal in traffic).

If you ever feel like chatting about programs and conversion ratios, I'd be honored to make your acquaintance.

greenguy 04-03-2003 10:57 AM

fnet - actually, about a year ago I got tired of answering the "what converts for you?" or "what amateur site are you doing best with these days?" type questions, so I put my stats online :)

Which is a great thing to do, and it's rare to see someone give their numbers and try to do it comprehensively.

Every 2-3 weeks someone here posts the same question:

What's the best converting program for general traffic?

And the feedback is mostly something you could use to enrich topsoil with. For newbies, that's fine. It seems like (and maybe I'm wrong) 1/2 of adult traffic is managed by 20 or so people. And these people DON'T know what the best converting sites are until months after they come around.

Not to ramble.

Nice to see ya over here.

Jon 04-03-2003 02:32 PM

greenguy-

how about posting number of clicks/raws sent to each sponsor. may give people a better idea on how much traffic to send to each one.

GTS Mark 04-03-2003 02:53 PM

Greenguy is a pretty smart guy, I met him last year at the Montreal Convention after he just gave a seminar. I personally have signed up for a few programs under him and have had very good results.

Thanks GG

greenguy 04-03-2003 02:56 PM

Boss Hawg - you guys do rock! :)

Lenny2 - Fuck You Very Much - LOL

NiteChatDotTV - like I said up top:
"if I included clicks, then my income would be right out there for everyone with a calculator to see"
"I can say that a majority of the sites - around 90% were sent less then 1000 hits."

DrinkingHard - glad to hear that :)

Nick 04-03-2003 03:09 PM

Wow - those wild girl sites convert like crazzzzy! :thumbsup

Jon 04-03-2003 03:09 PM

less than 1000 hits, and those conversions, wow - good job man.

seven 04-03-2003 03:24 PM

GreenGuy,
I bet no sponsor will dare shaving your stats actually think they may be inclined to actually add a few extra floating sign-ups to your stats instead lol. it must be good to be you :)

greenguy 04-03-2003 07:25 PM

seven - I do really hope that is not happening, but I have no way of telling if it is or not :(

No we don't have a webmater referral program.
this month were giving out $1000 cash to the top 3
webmasters.

SomeCreep 04-04-2003 01:01 AM

Hi GreenGuy,

hmm, all those sponsors. You must get like 300 checks a month. I was wondering how many people help you run link-o-rama?

I wanna see what the real greenguy looks like, is your pic posted anywhere? :)

Heres a new idea... Instead of the same ole' adult webmaster resource site with message boards and sponsor links, I'd like to see a webmaster community (greenguyandjim.com) that post "popular webmaster's" pictures, with their permission of course. I wanna see what thehun, richards-realm, mmm100, pornno, sublime crew, all look like.

greenguy 04-04-2003 07:05 AM

adamneve - I'll sign up for the program, but without a webmaster referral program, I can't put you in the stats :(

SomeCreep - I currently have 4 reviewers & myself working the admin on the Link O'Rama - I could probably get away with myself & 2 others, but I like to get the reviews done early in the day & I know my reviewers have other things to do as well, so they only have to work a few hours a day on my site &then they can do their own thing :)
Also - about the pictures - I think hahahahahahaha/Condom did that back in the day - LOL - but that is a very cool idea :)

Still if your going to run a site like this and expect people to accept it as worthwhile data, shouldnt you send a minimum level of clicks to each candidate? Like 500 clicks, or 1000 clicks if you liked them.

Makes more sense.

Plat 04-04-2003 07:29 AM

Heya greeny. We dont off per signup, but 50% revshare for life instead.

www.ipaysites.com

If you signup with us you can either build some galleries yourself with the gallery builder or I can work personally and build them all for you through the gallery builder. Complete with any type of recip or graphic you would like on top of each gallery.

justsexxx 04-04-2003 07:35 AM

Lol why are a lot of ppl complaining? I think it's a good list, although you can't really compare. But that list is made in first place for webmasters who wanted to know about the programs and conversion he got(correct me when wrong)

But I agree the list isn't 100% accurate, but I think it gives a nice indication....

Andre

greenguy 04-04-2003 08:50 AM

goBigtime - like I said up top:
"I can say that a majority of the sites - around 90% were sent less then 1000 hits."
If you want me to be more specific:
80% were sent less than 500 hits
60% were sent less then 250 hits
Most of the traffic comes from link-o-rama.com & all the paysites are clearly marked as being "pay sites" so the surfer pretty much knows what they are getting into before they leave my site.

Plat - I'll put you on my list for the next time I go on a program sign-up spree :)

Andre - thanks :) I know it's not 100% accurate & of course, the only way for a list like that to be 100% accurate would be for me to take all the sponsors stats based on all their webmasters & make one big huge list - LOL Of course, I doubt any sponsor program would give someone all that info :)

goBigtime 04-04-2003 08:54 AM

but you should already have a good portion of those stats as part of your RevStats program I would think. Enough to aggregate it all and generate some average ratios based on a much larger number of clicks.

I realize quality of traffic would fluctuate a lot when including many different webmasters, but still, if you have enough webmasters using RevStats it should all balance out to a more accurate set of numbers.

Damn. I don't think I'll ever pay "per signup". Recurring rev just seems to make more sense to me than anything. Is there a particular reason that you like "per signup" better?

Thanks for being an affiliate. I appreciate it.
