How are you doing with Adult Platinum?
 

I finally decided to give one of their sites (So Drunk) a try. In the last 6 hours I've had 1,200 raws, 720 uniques and 1 signup. That signup came within the first 140 qualified clicks. Since then, I have quintupled the clicks without another signup.

The clickthroughs are a little low because I have the gallery up on the Hun and he requires an intermediate page because of the Adult Platinum popups but I am still sending clicks at a fair rate.

I'm just wondering what your experiences have been with Adult Platinum (So Drunk in particular). Yes, I know I've only sent 720 qualified clicks so far but I have been doing this a long time and it's not a good sign when a day starts out like this. I generally have a handful of signups by this time of day, no matter what sponsor I am using, so this is a little worrying. 1:720 qualified is lousy. Even 1:720 raw is pretty bad. I am wondeing if it's just the site I picked or what.

I think they should dribble out a few more to you before they shave your balls off.

I use plenty of partnerships, too, but I want some reasonably useful per-signup programs. What is happening to me today with Adult Platinum is just ridiculous. This is now on track to tie my worst-ever performance from a Hun gallery.

Ok a couple quick questions for you

One. Why would you tell the surfer that he was getting everything for $1 when it is really $3.95 for the trial.

Two. You paid for the listing on The Hun, maybe you should have thought about contacting us or at least looking at the top converters in the stats and use a site that is converting better. ICQ me and I will give you better options there.

I designed that a while ago. Does it say a buck? I'll go look at the signup page.

I did look at the top converters, that doesn't tell me anything. It doesn't tell me what traffic sources or how many clicks were sent. I want to actively avoid the overall top sellers because that means they're seen the most. One thing for sure with a Hun listing is that most paysites go stale fast.

Yep, I do have a fuckup in the price. I see the $1 is the AmateurPages cross-sell. That was just a dumb mistake probably from being up too late. OK, so that's my bad entirely but I still don't think it accounts for what is really a pretty shitty performance.

As for why didn't I contact you; come on. Who contacts every sponsor about each and every site before using it? I'd never get anything done. Do you really want to be hearing from everyone before they promote you? It's in the Portfolio isn't it? As far as I'm concerned, that means "This is one of our sites. We stand behind it." So to now tell me "well, that wasn't such a great choice" is like, WTF? You put it in there but I shouldn't promote it? If you have sites that really kick ass on one kind of traffic and not another, maybe just a note on the stats page would help.

I'm not bashing Adult Platinum but it isn't working for me. Maybe another one of your sites would but I am not likely to sink more money into it after one bad performance. It's only a $200 link but you have to buy $2,000 worth at a time and I need things I can spread out over tons of other paid links, too.

I wasn't trying to stir up shit about Adult Platinum with this thread. I just wanted to hear from other webmasters. No one replied after about 3 (edit: make that 6 hours) hours and things weren't getting any better so I just asked for some alternatives.

SpaceAce, "SoDrunk" is not the only wild girls site at Adult Platinum, there are other sites to try (about 10) and you can also link to the hosted movie or photo galleries; try different approaches before assessing their efficiency for you.
Otherwise there are lots of other programs working great with TGPs and having the console free option required for them, you can see them in the signature of GFY members. :)

Hi, Cash. I know they have other sites as well. Like I said, I am not bashing Adult Platinum and another one of their sites might do better, but how willing am I to sink money back into another site from a sponsor who didn't do well the first time? I'm not horribly picky. I understand ups and downs, but this is going <B>exceptionally</B> poorly for me, not just average bottom-of-the-curve stuff. Right now I am sitting on about 1/4-1/5 of what I expect to have by this time of day from a link in the position I have this gallery in today on the Hun. With bandwidth facotred in, I am almost certainly going to lose a couple hundred dollars on this gallery.

I probably already have accounts at 75% of the places listed in people's signatures but I'll have a glance at yours just in case :)
