Yeah, Finnair (finnish airline, morons) also cancelled 3 out of the 4 daily flights to paris. The french have some sort of a strike going on, or something.

reminds me of the day when I flew back from LA to berlin, I took about 10 sleeping pills on the flight because I knew I only had a 55 minute stay in paris ... anyway I arrived in paris, looked like I jumped out of the movie "return of the living dead" ... and found out that fucking air france was on strike and no planes will fly into berlin ... I had a nice 36h bonus stay in paris and will never fly airfrance again ... lesson learned !!

I was leaving Paris on the Air France direcvt flight to NY but..
flight was cancelled and I had to fly thru London...

... when you walked up to the airfrance desk to get new flight tickets changed and shit, does this sound familiar:

when I was asked to speak French in France I spoke with a big smile on my face:

All my mother for as long as I can remember growing up would say was, "One day me and your father are going to Paris."

Blah blah blah I heard this forever, but they never would actually do it.

So last year I surprised them with 2 plane tickets and told them to fucking go already.
My mom was so excited....."Paris in the spring, this is like a dream come true."

Well they final went.

They decided when they landed to not take a cab, they would ride the train to their hotel.
Well somhow or another they got lost and were on trains for about 3 hours or so and were starting to freak out. Finally they found an "Information Booth".
They were so glad and went over to it and asked the man for directions to the hotel by pointing to the map.
He said in perfect english "Do you speak french?", they said no. The guy at the booth says, "Come back when you learn french."

The whole trip was filled with shit just like this.
When my mom called me from the airport on their way home I asked how was the trip, all she would say was, "fuck the french, fuck them all, why did I want to come here."
