So we are looking to hookup a webmaster conference for the people of the dirty south. A Texas thread that was posted just last night blew up and got a lot of replies. So who's for real and who's intrested. Let us know so we can see about making it a reality.

I'm near Atlanta :)

The problem is that it's cheaper for me to fly to Vegas than to most places in TX. So I vote for Atlanta - lots of big companies here - National Net and Consumption Junction to name a couple. And I know Plat (who looks 15 :winkwink: ) and Dallas would come down. :thumbsup

Then again, I need to get out of the house, so traveling to another state for get together would be cool too!

Shemp and I are looking at having the 2nd annual Atlanta gathering around November, since the last one was such a blast. Didn't have much time to plan that one either, so the next one should rock! :winkwink:

Small group meetings like that really have their place in this biz - witness last year's and KK's Vancouver dinner, lol! Businesswise, you have a chance to sit down and REALLY talk to people. Now I just need to get my act together and start using the gems of info I got. :(

I don't know I'm mean you guys being in Georgia you are already pretty close to the Internext is FL so it's not that far for you guys to go to something and it's close to home for you. Here in Texas and Louisiana there is nothing close to us. this is a big ass state with several large cities and we need to get something happening here and we've only got 8 votes for attending so far, that's not much.
