NY Times releases Trump's taxes from 1995

Seems the NY Times has the first few pages of Trump's taxes from 1995.... Which claims a $915 million tax loss...... No wonder why he refuses to release his taxes.

I don't get it..... it looks like he "legally" did not pay taxes for up to 18 years because of a net operating loss.

SuckOnThis 10-01-2016 09:36 PM

A billion dollar loss in a year, that's gotta be a record for one guy. Just think of all the wonderful things the 'successful' business guy will do for our economy.

Most likely everything with his taxes is perfectly legal. However, the problem is Trump is a multi millionaire who doesn't pay taxes while the middle class toils away and has to pay taxes. It might be legal, but it looks really bad.

To me, a free market anarchist, it looks extremely smart.

Avoiding being thieved by the government is always a positive thing if you have an ounce of business sense.

Unfortunately he is an authoritarian boot-licker that's hellbent on control. But I must give him props by avoiding having his money stolen under the guise of taxation.

The 1% are in favor of dodging taxes and raising the tax bills. Ironic.

The system is set up that way. Loopholes are written into the tax code for rich people, not the middle class. Its a game and dont blame the player blame the system.

Besides, the jobs this guy has created brought in more tax revenue than hilary has in her public career. She is a job killer and a money waster.

Thwere'as no such thing as the free market. Your little bit is insignificant.

What there is, is a controlled market where goods are bought from countries with the cheapest labour and sold to those with middle to high-income labour. The problem with this is the continual erosion of the income of most in countries that need to be buying goods.

The 1% who are organising this are the biggest tax dodgers of them all. This doesn't mean the money isn't being spent. In fact, the % are creating more tax bills than ever. Who creates the wars? Who gets Government grants and contracts? Who throws people out of work and onto benefits? Who has sits back and watches mass migration reduce wages, tax revenue and increases tax bills?

The crazy part is the American Public think reducing taxes is a solution. so they can buy more stuff from countries with cheap labour and add to their own tax bills. CAPITALISM HAS TO WORK FOR EVERYONE NOT A TINY FEW.

This is where we are headed.

Maybe not. The people will rebel and vote in people to represent them and not the minority.

All the jobs that he stiffed his workers on?

6 bankruptcies, probably never paid a dime in taxes, stiffed thousands of workers by not paying them, conned thousands with a fake university, fake charity, took money from the 9/11 fund.....all that and probably more and he still loses money. :1orglaugh

No..just no.. The govt is not "stealing" tax money. You pay it in exchange for various services. You can debate if you agree with these services or not but it's not theft.

Trump is a leech. He is making millions in the US, using our services which allow him to make millions and then he cooks his books to appear at a loss.

Guys like this are why our states don't have money to fix roads and bridges..

Yes, let's talk about the emails again. In fact, let's have another investigation about them. Oh wait - we already are having another investigation about emails.

This entire line of attack has gotten old and been nothing more than ridiculous. This type of email set up was common at the State Department; Republican Secretaries of State have used the same set up. Why aren't we investigating them?

We've now read tens of thousands of emails and the end result is we have found no wrong doing. It's way past time to give up on this.

He can never release his taxes. It will kill his campaign.

The first problem is he hasn't paid any taxes. We have three years of tax records and all of them say the same thing - he hasn't paid any taxes. Nothing illegal about this but how can you claim to be for the middle class when are you a billionaire who hasn't been taxes in decades?

The second problem is much worse and would go much deeper. Trump's taxes are huge and very detailed; They would list every company he does business with and exactly what he is doing. The press would have a field day with this information. Imagine the press going over every financial detail and would be able to question everything. Anything and everything could be called into question, and Trump would spend the rest his campaign answering questions and defending his taxes right up till election day.

You know Clinton is going to get much louder about his taxes the closer we get to election day.

DBS.US 10-02-2016 03:21 PM

Trump is a business man, and his job it to make lots of money and pay out very little. He used the rules and that's what he did.

Clintons job was to do what's best for the American people. Clinton broke the rules and was doing what was best for her.

you have to give trump credit for succeeding in a system where you pay no tax and bear no personal financial responsibility for massive losses :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

he was born with a handicap of 100-s of millions of $$$ and daddies connections, it is completely understandable that he, somehow, managed to lose 900million$ in one year with casinos, places where people literally come and leave $$$ on the table for you...

Sure, Trump loses money. He is a poor person masquerading as a rich big shot. You trump haters are freekin brainwashed. Bankruptcies are part of the game, paying as little tax as you can is a game. Why shouldnt he take money from the 9/11 fund if it were available to his company?

You want to talk about disgusting behavior? Clinton has made her living from the public dole by peddling influence. She has shown horrible judgment and feels no rules, including the rule of law, apply to her. It's pathetic that anyone would think about voting for someone as corrupt and soulless as this person, yet there seems to be millions of clueless idiots out there who seem to believe the government is running as designed.

Mostly because it's stealing. That money was given out to small businesses who suffered a loss due to 9/11. Trump's business empire isn't small, nor did he suffer any loss due to 9/11. That's just theft.

Yet oddly enough she's never been charged with a crime.

I mean, we ripped through tens of thousands of email, every email she ever sent while she worked at Secretary of State, plus other emails hacked from the DNC.... And we've never found any evidence that she has ever done anything wrong.

But let's have another investigation.

The best part of it all is that he doesn't even drive. Truth be told, Hillary doesn't drive either- she mentioned she physically hasn't driven a car in the past twenty years. I think this is just wrong - Please don't tell me you represent the middle class when haven't so much as driven an automobile once in the past twenty years. Sanders is more of the same.

Trump is trying to paint himself as being an outsider and not part of the establishment, but he doesn't seem to understand he is the establishment - He takes advantage of all of the loop holes for the rich.

Do you know who I want running for President? I want someone who spent his entire weekend emptying out a garage so his kid park their car inside. I want someone who spends their Saturday afternoon excavating their side yard with a shovel so they can try to make it look "pretty" again. Do you think Trump ever picks weeds at his house? Do you think Hillary does? Sanders? Of course not.

None of these people represent the middle class.
