Trump Foundation never lehttps://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trump-foundation-lacks-the-certific

Seems the Trump Foundation never filed any paperwork to set itself up as a charity.... It might have been illegal from day one. Fox News - FOX NEWS - says all of the money might have to be returned.

Schneiderman could order the charity to stop raising money immediately if the allegations turn out to be true. The Democratic attorney general could also make Trump return any money that had been raised.

This just gets better every day.

Damn did I fuck up the title! I shouldn't post this early in the morning.

woj 09-30-2016 07:31 AM

form didn't get filled out and $50 filing fee didn't get paid... certainly newsworthy... :error

Democrats should be real careful with this one. If Republicans start investigating the Clinton Foundation which so far has been ignored she's toast and she's going to take a lot of people down with her.. BTW the Clinton Foundation was setup to build the Presidential Library. Everything else they are doing with it is outside of it's stated and approved scope.

Billionaire that does his paper-work filings like a Thousandaire.
Now wonder the windbag will soon get fined again. And, now the campaign refuses to reply.

The media is out to *ruin Trump* :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

The sad part is that Hillary is a nothing candidate too -- do nothing maybe??

If they never opened up a charity, it's illegal from the start. This could be a huge problem.

Yes, let's investigate the Clinton Foundation. It's not like we haven't spent the past four years investigating everything she's ever done and never found anything illegal.

I'm not kidding. Let's investigate.

You would demand a investigation if it were Hillary..

Simple fact is Trump seems to "forget" about doing a lot of things. Seems he is way to incompetent to sit in the WH.

Also rules are rules just like laws are laws.. Either you are breaking them or you aren't seems far too often Trump is breaking them..

He "forgets" because he has "people" that do stuff like that for him. Just like he will have "people" do stuff for him if was ever President.....like be President for him.

Voodoo 09-30-2016 09:24 AM

Trump & Clinton are both scumbags.

in grand scheme of things this infraction is equivalent to driving 2 blocks without having a seatbelt on... no one got hurt, no one got harmed in any way, it's just stirring shit up over nothing... :2 cents:

The grand scheme of things shows over and over that Trump lies and tries to not do what he is required to do. He skips out on paying contractors, tries to cheat at every possible point.

It's one thing to have good tax guys and pay as little as possible, that's good business, but not setting up.companies, foundations improperly, not cheating your contractors it's just bad business and really it's criminal when he does it over and over..

I disagree. Laws about charity organizations are very, very strict.

I am involved in small local charity, and we lost our charity tax status and it was devastating. Because someone failed to file a damn piece of paper on our end it was a year of haggling with the IRS. This was a small local charity that raises hundreds of thousands of dollars a year; Imagine a national charity with tens of millions of dollars pumping through it.

This enabled the Trump Foundation to operate with no over sight at all.

Yea, having an unregistered charity is the same thing as driving 2 blocks without a seatbelt. Now that's fucking funny!

It actually is. If you're so incompetent that you look over something that simple (or you hire people who are that incompetent), well.... thank god you had daddy's money, eh? :winkwink:

This is like every other shady thing we see about Donald Trump...it'll make a big splash for one day then will be forgotten about by the next. There's just so many things, people are numb to it.

Ok he's a piece of shit. Everyone knows that.

I won't be voting for a piece of shit...but there's some people out there who will. Hopefully not enough to put that piece of shit in control of our country.

Whatever he touches turns to shit. It's a miracle he's still afloat financially, when you think about all of the shady business practices, failures, bankruptcies, etc. This is a man who has been installed into a life in which he can never lose no matter how badly he fucks up. You can thank his father for that.

Surprised fox news reported on this, there must be some kind of play going on here to say that it was never a charity. Just an extra bank account name "foundation" like the "University"....

Trumps scandals make Clinton look like a girl scout.

I was surprised Fox News covered it also.

Fox News tends to be the voice of the Republican party. On the other hand I don't think Fox News likes Trump. Which is odd.

He transformed the Republican party. Media, neocons etc didn't want it transforming.
