I thought they would have waited a little longer, but it looks like they'll be entering the city sometime soon. Last night (Wednesday, there time) a LOT of progress was made.

It appears that the reason we aren't working to hold the entire country is that people are more likely to revolt once the government is smashed.

There have been reports of civilians "helping" out and giving information. Some seem ready and willing to revolt. Looks like they're just covering their asses, afraid we'll back out again.

Plenty of casualties...but right now maybe less on the US side because most of the work was done by air strikes against the republican gaurd.

But they were told that they can still show civilians in hospitals.
