                                      It means closing in terms of getting the clients agreement on what the salesman has just proposed.

                                      For instance, a site I've just looked at. So far after tried to look at samples of what they have and seen nothing. Then asked to register. Why should I bother to stay?

                                      Don't stick the join button in my face before I'm sold on the product.

                                          That is sales basics - do not push for the close straight away, until customer is sold on the value he is getting. And I think the second blackboard in that clip has something about it in 4 words: interest, agreement etc.
