Photoshop Question ?!?!

Does anyone know a dummy tutorial of how to touch up models?
I´m trying to figure out how to get that airbrushed skin look that
you see in almost every tour design.

Any help would be very much appreciated..

make a new layer, and then smart blur. Fuck with the settings both for the layer opacity and filter setings.

Mutt 04-01-2003 02:07 PM

post a sample Dyna, i think i know what u mean.

I'm going to try RedShoe's method, sounds interesting.

What i do is duplicate the layer and then use the 'dodge' tool on the areas where i want the 'glossy sheen' - then i use a soft brush for my eraser and rub away until i get something that looks good.

i'm going to try Redshoe's, sounds promising, i guess mask out eyes and other areas you want to remain nice and sharp.

Redshoe´s method work amazingly great Thanks, perfect for retouching model pics.....it only doesn´t really work if you want
the effect that you see used on tours. I´m curious for that one
aswell.

Come designers.....reveal some of your secrets....:winkwink:

I´ll post a sample of what I mean shortly....I have to dig up a
nice one :-)

This design studio kicks ass....I´ve seen some work of them
before but they also have a KICKASS tutorials section
filled with some really cool tips. Check it out.

they also have a very nice portfolio.....impressive.
And no I´m not affiliated to them.....but I LIKE what I see here.

isnt there one on www.bluedesignstudios.com in thier tutorial section.

Get a Wacom pen if you're going to be doing a lot of it. Its way easier and more precise than if you do it with a mouse.
