    Does windows keep some kind of temp file of pictures viewed from sd card?

    Just wondering if that is a possibility. I tried searching google but couldn't come up with much.

    I had my camera along with an sd card stolen but viewed the pictures previously on my laptop..thought maybe it makes a copy or something while being viewed. sucks to lose the pictures.

      Maybe try run (WIN+R) then %temp% and search that folder for your images.
