What are your favourite vegetables?

I don't eat many vegetables, but when I do it tends to be either broccoli or carrots.

Aside from these what are your favorite veggies?

Adnium_Ivana 08-30-2016 03:42 PM

🍆
also avocados & kale.

Sly 08-30-2016 03:47 PM

Broccoli, spinach, sweet potatoes, snap peas.

At one time I had asparagus on my list, and while delicious, has minimal nutritional value so I dropped it. Each of the items above are packed with nutrients.

broccoli's the best for vitamins, but personally love brussels, yes sprouts, they're so good! My partner's a cabbage freak, loves it. He enjoys eating it as much as he can, if not, carrots, raw does him good :thumbsup

nobody will ever call those fruit ever. the scientific definition has nothing to do with the definition of the word itself.

Potatoes have been given a bad reputation due to people abusing them. Potatoes are incredibly healthy for you when prepared properly.

To a botanist, a fruit is an entity that develops from the fertilized ovary of a flower. This means that tomatoes, squash, pumpkins, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants, corn kernels, and bean and pea pods are all fruits; so are apples, pears, peaches, apricots, melons and mangos. A vegetable, botanically, is any edible part of a plant that doesn?t happen to be a fruit, as in leaves (spinach, lettuce, cabbage), roots (carrots, beets, turnips), stems (asparagus), tubers (potatoes), bulbs (onions), and flowers (cauliflower and broccoli).

So I should be in a good spirits when I eat something with fries? :)
Due to that reputation I thought it would be better to avoid them. Same as rice.

Funny that some people do not eat/like them. That would be crazy (and counter productive to health).
