Clinton to be Deposed by Judicial Watch Over Email Server Discrepancies
 

A federal judge has rejected a request to force Hillary Clinton to submit to a sworn deposition in a suit related to her private email server, ruling instead that she must respond in writing to questions about the issue.


The judge also said it appeared Judicial Watch "likely has a very limited number of questions for Secretary Clinton," making it more plausible that the issue could be resolved in writing.
Sullivan noted that under legal precedents applicable to current and former Cabinet officials, the court should only require Clinton to appear at a deposition if "exceptional circumstances" justified such an approach.

Judge won't order deposition of Clinton in email suit

The key is getting her on record in a court of law. Answered on paper and signed by her is just as good. If she lies like she has many times before then all they have to do is pull up a video of her saying something different or provide other evidence to the contrary and she's officially purjered herself. The judge will have to issue a warrant.

Clearly we must demand another investigation.

I honestly do believe that where there is smoke there is fire, but man, this shit is getting old. Doesn't the Republican party understand the more we investigate her and the fact that we never investigate anyone else just pushes people over to Clinton's side? I left the GOP because of the bullshit investigation into Whitewater and the resulting impeachment - It was an obvious witch hunt and I expect our government to be above high school games like this.

We are investigating Clinton over and over again and NEVER investigating anyone else who has had the same exact email set up.

I think everyone involved in investigating Benghazi in any of the NINE INVESTIGATIONS should be removed from office ASAP. Same with the email crap - Not so much of a hint of any wrong doing, she was found innocent, and that SAME DAY they said "Oh, don't you worry, we'll launch another investigation".

And you damn well know they'll launch another investigation. But the reality is at best they'll find her guilty of something, she'll pay a fine, and just move on, just like her husband did when he was impeached.

Yes because a one year investigation by the FBI & a 3 hour interogation by them when she was found to be truthful means nothing. It's a federal crime to lie to the FBI. Her entire team are all clean and the FBI said she's clean as well. Get over it you're in denial :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

She did in the Senate hearing but no one has had the balls to charge her with purjury. Most likely because they know they will commit suicide with two gun shots to the back of the head days later.

Nobody goes under oath with FBI because lying to them is against the law, a federal offense. People who were found innocent, but lied to the FBI out of fear, have gone to jail just for the lie.

She's not being charged with perjury because she didn't comit perjury, lookup the definition.

You really want Clinton to overcome this without any negative stuff happening to her. It seems that you really love it when she walks away from it all winning. Why are you so extremely pro Clinton?

Ten years from now Republicans will still be crying about Benghazi, but the tears will mostly be because they never got Clinton even though they tried and tried. They made a career out of it and failed.

I am not really "pro Clinton".

I want my government to do it's job. Specifically, I want Congress do it's job. I don't want my elected officials to use the Justice Department with the only intention of trying to make a political candidate look bad.

Take Benhazi for an example. There was no indication of any wrong doing by anyone. This was a terrorist attack that no one saw coming, no one could have prevented, and no one could have changed the outcome. Yet for some reason we had nine different investigations into it.

Then we have the email crap. Again, no indication that there was any wrong doing - at all. There is no law that says the Secretary of State cannot send classified email using a private server. (You would THINK there was, but there isn't.) Zero indication of any wrong doing, zero indication of any laws broken, yet we had to have a year long investigation. And when they interviewed the FBI and they repeated "no charges" they said - during the fucking hearing - "Oh, don't worry, we will have another investigation". We already know no laws were broken, and we aren't going to investigate anyone else.

This is bullshit already. This the Republican party using the Justice Department and the FBI to make a political candidate look bad.

I want my elected officials to their jobs, not abuse their power to smear a political candidate.
