Rock sold like it was a train wreck.

I woulda had Goldberg as heel destroying the Raw set with Bischoff the night after Wrestlemania...Wreaking havoc and resurrecting Nitro during a moment of weakness.

Then have Tito Ortiz join Goldberg for a new takeover angle. WWE Nitro begins a new MMA-worked shoot style. Smackdown becomes an all wrestling-program.

Good thing you're not booking Raw, I'd have changed the channel.

it might have been cool if it'd been done when they brought in NWO.. but not with Goldberg. Goldberg cannot do the heel role.

WWE is really good at not using talent and introducing shitty storylines.

Look at the whole NwO angle.

Look at all the angles they killed and just made boring as hell.
They need to make the gimicks last longer, and make them stronger.

Almost as bad as when they had those shitty ratings in the late 90's execpt now they are doing it with ALL premium talent whereas before they could use the excuse WcW was stealing all their talent.

There is no excuse for the drop in ratings and loss of intrest other than the writers and storyline gimmicks suck dick.

My wife answered the phone a couple of years ago while I was watching TV and her look turned morose as she said into the receiver, "Oh my god what happened."

For the next 10 minutes I was trying to get some news out of her, because it was apparent that someone close to her had died.

I was getting pissed off at her as she kept waving me away. I sat listening intently for the next few minutes.

Finally, she hung up the phone and I asked in the most concerned manner I possibly ever have, "What happened?"

She replied to me, "Oh, nothing. Someone on one of Mom's soap's cheated on her husband."

My wife laughs when I watch this shit, but then I just bring up this little story and remind her that MEN watch "Their stories" and shoot the shit about it with other guys. MEN also know it's staged entertainment and we watch it for it's athleticism and entertainment value. WE talk about how the STORY could have been better.

WOMEN watch their "Stories" and get so enthralled with them that they actually develop feeling towards the CHARACTERS as opposed to the ACTORS playing them. THEY talk about why these CHARACTERS should have or shouldn't have cheated on their husbands.

Fucking weak are the words that come to mind when I saw RAW tonight. I watch wrestling on occasion but I'm not a devoted fan because WWE sucks for the most part at this point in time. I generally catch it during the football offseaon, which is right now. I watched tonight expecting Goldberg to debut and do something crazy or whatever. To see him come out fully clothed and not flexing and spitting or something and then do a spear on Rock only to watch him act like he was near death afterwards, I thought damn that really sucked and where did my time go that I just wasted watching this bullshit. I could write better story lines than these guys, someone please make it entertaining again because the football offseason is a long one.
