Sellers on Ebay

This feedback thing makes them all retarded... something went screwy on this sellers end and before he sends me anything explaining what went wrong, he threatens me saying "if I live negative feedback I will be sorry"

Like what the fuck, This guy is in for a big surprise, beacause

A) I dont give a fuck about my feedback, I have like 8 transactions
B) I have way too much time on my hands.
C) what is he really going to do to me? email bomb me?

I figure I will put up a little site showing all our email conversations and some other neat stuff and leave the url in his feedback, This just frustrates me, I can tell the kid cant be over 17, yet he thinks he is some sort of ebay bigshot

"big frigging deal, only morons look at single negatives so I am happy if they dont bid. 97% positive baby "

KrazieSweets 03-31-2003 06:37 PM

expose em :BangBang:

Mojo 03-31-2003 06:40 PM

You can't leave a URL in feedback. As soon as he tells eBay they will remove it. :(

MrPopup 03-31-2003 06:41 PM

youll be sorry!!!!!

Beachbunny25 03-31-2003 08:35 PM

:2 cents: Ebay definitely attracts alot of wackos. It's like a black hole.. some people just get sucked in and think that it's their life

Luc Duboi 03-31-2003 08:38 PM

You'll be sorry!!

Amen brother. Don't fuck with somebody who bores easily.

Beachbunny25 03-31-2003 08:48 PM

It's like a catch 22. I love buying things on Ebay, but I get so competitive.

beemk 03-31-2003 08:53 PM

send a complaint to ebay.

They don't give a shit because the seller is making them money. They'll find some excuse to back this person up.

DearAbby 03-31-2003 09:47 PM

Is there much money to be made with ebay?

B40 03-31-2003 11:43 PM

Leave negative feedback, if he leaves negative feedback back, email ebay and tell them the deal and they might remove it.

Also forward the email where he threatens you against leaving negative feedback, that should be enough for them to suspend his account :glugglug

I saw a guy with a 10,000 feedback once... I don't think he had any negs... if that was me I would sue someone for leaving bad feedback...

how many does he have?

FlyingIguana 03-31-2003 11:47 PM

i will always leave negative feedback if things went like shit. i have a couple negative feedback from retaliation. had one guy make threats and i had him booted from ebay.

ebay won't remove feedback unless it breaks their rules on feedback.

No...you just post a response to any negative feedback that he leaves...or any feedback for that matter that says...
"see my about me page for info"

and then on your about me page you give out all the details and link to whatever url you like.

Don't know if you are aware of this, but you can leave a response to every single feedback that someone leaves you...it shows up directly under the feedback a buyer or seller leaves you.

So when someone does investigate your feedback they see your response and check out your about me page.

in order to have that many positives without a negative you have to pretty much kiss ass. the guy must rarely if ever leaves negative feedback.

I made $5000 a week when I was 18 selling baseball cards. I did it again last year and made $5000 a week on baseball cards I bought for $500 from ebay. If you know how to market you can make a mint. Adult webmasters are especially good at this so if you have a catch yes you can make a fortune. It's just a pain in the ass dealing with retarded people who can't read. Try to imagine every customer you ever sent to a paysite having the option of leaving a publically read comment because they don't know how to read.

Not exactly. Even though ebay advertises that feedback can't be removed you can pay squaretrade to have it removed. By the way, you get credits towards ebay shit when you pay them to remove it so ebay has their hand in it for sure. Go figure.

i haven't used ebay in over a year and back then there was no way to remove feedback. must have changed their policies.

psyko514 04-01-2003 12:16 AM

ebay will remove the ffedback if it goes against their feedback rule, or if you successfully resolve your dispute thru a service like squaretrader.

stocktrader23, squaretrader only charges $20 per dispute resolution, but it costs more. if it's an ebay related dispute, ebay subsidizes part of the cost.
