If Putin is a tyrant why don't citizens stop him from destroying their country? Or are things so much better in Russia now than before? Serious question.

the next guy comes along, bombs a country to free it (libya) then lets ISIS grow in the vaccuum they left behind. doesnt work out well. so theres millions of "good" muslims, living under the thumb of a few thousands "jihadis" & these millions of good guys are such pussies, they run to germany to gang-grope women in train stations. & those are the good guys! & the bad guys? they do passive aggressive things like run over crowds with trucks, use machine guns in gun free zones, hide bombs in airports, hide behind the civilians they enslave. doesnt seem like anyone has an answer to a muslim race full of wimps. :2 cents: |
>But Putin lies about how long he'll stay in office.
because he does not decide it. all decide presidential election I do not even understand what he could lie here?:1orglaugh >He says he'll follow the constitution, then lies and stays another term. And he did not violate the constitution. Bear in mind that what little Americans know of Russia and of Putin is from a very biased and in most cases ill informed press right here in America.
I try to follow Putin in particular from an unbiased perspective but even at that it is very hard to find accurate information, even from generally good sources like Al Jazeera and oddly enough RT. What it does seem to me is that Putin is kind of Russia's Ronald Regan, an authoritative figure who is intensely proud of his country and has a disdain for political correctness. One thing that got my attention in particular was Putins statement that Russia had no reason to thank immigrants for coming to Russia and try to make these people comfortable by accepting the culture, instead he claimed that immigrants should thank Russia for allowing them to be a part of the great country that is Mother Russia and that these immigrants should accept Russian culture and make Russians comfortable in allowing them into the country. I cant think of any reason why I should not agree with that. But I will say straight up that I know very little of the man or of his politics. What I do know of Russian history is that they are a great and a strong people who have faced extraordinary upheavals and generally deserve the reputation for greatness, toughness and steadfastness that their country has earned. |
Russia needs Donald Trump to run for president of their country..

[QUOTE=qwe;21096016Problem is not Putin, problem is US minding their own business all over the world, destroying smaller countries everywhere[/QUOTE]
Russia doesn't mind it's own business. Russia invades so many smaller countries over the years. Baltic states, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Lithuania, Georgia, Manchuria, Ukraine, Mongolia, Hungary, the list goes on. USA & Russia are aggressive countries doesn't mean we can't work more together, in an honest way. Of course us everyday people of both nations are a lot like eachother in many, many ways, it's our governments that put us in danger, possibly against eachother, in the future. |
