Monetising a tube site?

Hi,

I've launched my first tube site and have uploaded around 1500 videos. I am keen to know what the best way to monetise it would be.

How would I go about deploying advertising and pop up links. I am using wordpress with popcorn them.

I can't post the link as I have put 30 posts on here yet.

Cheers

There is a lot of moneytise options out there for an adult tubes website...Ive tried plugrush in the past but right now i prefer juicyads...Search on googles for other alternatives if you want but I really like the way juicyads work.

It all depends on the traffic you have. First see what type of traffic you have, what countries are the most active and then look for a solution based upon the traffic behavior.

general answer is: pops (if you doesn't mind that is bother visitors), banners next to the video, affiliate links where users can buy similar movie as video they watch, top menu nofollow links that lead to dating, webcam etc. affiliate programs, pre-play ads in video player, plugs for trading/selling traffic, premium paid section

A great advice.

It is a general tube, or a niche tube (lesbian, gay, voyeur et cetera)? If yes, then it would be good to work with the sponsor programs in your niche.

Focus on getting some traffic first.

Use exoclick
popads for monilize your site.

This is what I use on all my tube sites:

Popunders from Plugrush
Banner ads from Exoclick (3 in footer, 1 in sidebar)
Banner ad from Bongacash (1 in sidebar)

This should give you about $1-$1.5 per 1000 visitors. (if you have at least 50% US traffic)

Thanks you very much for your replies. It is a generalist gay tube site. As much as I want to make money, it also an opportunity to learn process.

what daily UV traffic do you get currently?

that will also influence how much you can make

Supr7 08-25-2016 10:10 AM

I would recommend using your displaying your own ads with your affiliate links over something like exoclick or plugrush you'll make more money.

I like Crak Revenue for ads, but I suggest making sure your onsite SEO is in top shape for all 1500 of those videos, pages etc. Find a good sponsor for your video clips, pics and banners. Loading crap quality and not optimizing hurts you better to go slower and do it right. Just some advice that I learned the hard way.

sorry for the late reply guys. is there any shortcut on here for checking when people have replied to my threads?

my traffic is very minimal at the moment. virtually non existent to be honest, perhaps it would be better to focus on traffic first then worry about monetising?

ironwebmaster 09-21-2016 08:45 PM

You can subscribe to your own thread and get email notifications.

Yea focus on traffic first

You can also try trafficjunky. They have a decent CPM rate.

hotmoza 09-23-2016 09:41 PM

POpads and exoclick is best for adult industry.

ironwebmaster 11-28-2016 12:09 AM

Bump for you

Daniel BongaCash 11-29-2016 03:40 AM

Easiest way to monetise is to run some ads there, like JuicyAds, ExoClick, Traffic Junky and so on.
Once you have some decent traffic you can sell some premium spots (with affiliate links) if you can convert good.

In my experience tube sites don't make shit. YOu need to do something new that's not been done.

I'll be exposing a new niche and a website I was fired from. Stay tuned
