Donald Trump: Putin would return Snowden if I?m president

Businessman and 2016 GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump says if he?s elected president, Russian President Vladimir Putin would turn over former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden.

"Putin likes me, I've dealt with Putin"

?If I?m president, Putin says ?hey, boom ? you?re gone? ? I guarantee you that,? Mr. Trump said in an interview with CNN.

Dangerous to rule by emotion rather than intellect.

If that were were the case, why is Russia now whining and crying about NATO being right on its doorstep.

The simple fact is Ukraine was not in our envelope of influence. There wasn't much the US or anyone could do with Russia in Ukraine but our pressure on Russia eventually stopped them from going further.

Obama didn't give concessions to Russia over Ukraine, he accepted the fact that short of starting WW3 there was nothing we could do about it but force financial hardships on Russia.

Russia eventually backed down and now NATO sits re-enforced on Russia's doorstep while your economy goes down the tubes..

Not crying and not whining but uses that to annex Crimea and as an excuse to put tactical nukes on the EU borders. That's just for your info of course :winkwink:

If Russia didn't went there it would have been a bloody cival war. Wasn't the former president legaly elected, but pro Russia.... Now that there are less Russian that can vote, the party in favour of the EU 'won'.

If the EU would have gone there to prevent the cival war, we would have had another Srebrenica. Or maybe the EU still would be discussing to sent trioops or not. The Russians have more balls. The EU sent a puppet that only could shout that Ukrain was welcome in the EU. Well, maybe the rest of the EU, The Netherlands voted against that in a referendum.

What does it say when the world sanctions a country because of the actions of the leader?

If he did what he agreed, and didn't go back on his word, no sanctions. Am I missing something?
