How have your CCbill sales been......

Im curious, how have your CCbill sales been this past week? Good, about the same or abnormaly bad?

EscortBiz 03-30-2003 07:03 PM

VERY VERY GOOD

gothweb 03-30-2003 07:09 PM

Sales slumped last week, but I am pretty sure it wasn't CCBill. Back on track this weekend, and then some.

natas 03-30-2003 07:09 PM

best ever week this week :)

rowan 03-30-2003 07:12 PM

I'm an affiliate, but I've spread myself over about 15 programs... sales are normal. The usual bunch of check refunds. :(

(why the f#*$ do sponsors offer a 3 day check trial when it will probably take longer than that to come back NSF?)

FlyingIguana 03-30-2003 07:20 PM

i haven't noticed any difference

HardProfits 03-30-2003 07:47 PM

Our company uses a proprietary system which checks the conversion rates on traffic between 3 different processors

And right now, CCBill is showing strong results on both signups and conversion to recurring

Whatever your doing CCBill, do more of it ;-)

kaylacam 03-30-2003 07:53 PM

Last week started off STRONG, but slumped the last 3 days. Still last week WAS the best week I have had in forever!

Ian 03-30-2003 10:36 PM

CCBill sent out a letter saying that people should change their signup pages.

If you didn't then your processing was turned off.

PANTYHOSE PROPHET 03-30-2003 11:16 PM

The sites that I am an affiliate with (about 45 of them total) did horrible this past week for me. At least a 75% drop.

BluMedia 03-30-2003 11:22 PM

been awesome here. =)

Intersting responses. The ones that did GREAT, do you own your own sites? :winkwink:
The ones that say it sucked the past week, are you affilates or do you also own your own sites?

"Important Notification For Account #:
Dear Valued Client,

In an effort to enhance security and provide you with a more user friendly system, we are asking for your assistance to help us update the following systems:

I. Subscription Forms
II. User Management

I. Subscription Forms Conversion

Over the course of the next few weeks we will be updating our ?join? or subscription forms in small groups in order to remain compliant with current Credit Card Associations rules and guidelines. During this period, all older versions of CCBill subscription forms will be phased out and converted over to our FORMpro (CCBill Custom Forms) subscription form system to conform to these guidelines.

The CCBill FORMpro Subscription Form System maintains our standard for providing you with the most innovative and secure processing services available. This system offers you a wide range of form options, and allows you to increase traffic and market directly to your customers with these features:

Linked Credit Card and On-Line Check forms for denials
Java Pop Ups: Timed and Exit
Customizable Opt Out URL's
Customizable Pricing Options
HTML Emails
Java Error Checking
IMPORTANT: To support this conversion process, all older version CCBill subscription forms have had their administrative update functions ?locked? from further changes. This means that the forms you are currently using for the sub accounts listed below can no longer be changed or updated in our system.

No later than Sunday, March 23, 2003, you will be required to convert all your older version sign up forms for the following sub accounts over to the FORMpro Subscription Form System utilizing the code provided below:

Sub Account #:

To help make your conversion to the new FORMpro subscription forms system as simple as possible, below is the HTML code to access your new FORMpro Credit Card and Online Check subscription forms for the above account:

If you require assistance placing the above code, or if you currently are using customized forms for your website and want us to handle the set up of your new Custom FORMpro subscription forms, please contact us immediately at [email protected] or call our Subscription Form Conversion Support Team at 888.596.9279 for assistance.

Please note: If you do not handle this conversion using the above code, or arrange for us to assist you with this conversion by March 23, 2003, it will be necessary for us to automatically convert your forms to this new system. As a result, your forms may not provide you with the results you desire, and could cause a loss of sales for your website. With this in mind, it is extremely important that you contact us with any questions or problems as quickly as possible.

II. User Management System

To provide your website?s members area with enhanced security, we are in the process of updating the scripts that are associated with our User Management System.

IMPORTANT: To maintain the level of protection your member?s area receives, it is imperative that you contact us immediately so that we can facilitate the conversion of this script for the following sub accounts:

Sub Account #:
Please gather the following information for the above sub accounts, and have it available when you contact us:

FTP Information
Location of Password Files
Database Information (if applicable)
Any unusual or special settings associated with your User Management
System.
Please contact us immediately at [email protected] or call our
User Management System Support Team at 888.596.9279 for assistance.

We want to thank you for your quick response to these requests. We are hopeful that you will allow us to assist you with these tasks, in an effort to keep your account processing at its optimum level.

Best wishes.

I never got that email

PerfectionGirls 03-31-2003 06:46 AM

Never got that email and I talk to those guys nearly every day. Weird!

Sale... Very good week last week, but we have been in a non-stop growing pattern for sometime so we seem to always do better then we did the week before.

Nor did I.

It's possible you guys already have newer type forms and weren't required to change. :)

that might be...also, my understanding is that we are phasing it in batches, so if you have the old forms, and have not gotten an email yet, expect to get one soon

btw, if your signup form goes to a "bill.ccbill.com/jpost" url, then you have the new forms.

The new forms compliment our new reports system (which will be unveiled soon). It offers many new features and the people that have been upgraded to it have been very pleased. Some features:
  • Linked Credit Card and On-Line Check forms for denials
  • Java Pop Ups: Timed and Exit
  • Upsale Transaction Option
  • Customizable Opt Out URL's
  • Customizable Pricing Options
  • HTML Emails
  • Java Error Checking

If you are on the old forms and want to convert before we contact you, call 888.596.9279 or email [email protected]

kaylacam 03-31-2003 10:28 AM

I changed my form, so I know that is not the reason for the slide the last fwe days.

In answer to the question posted earlier:

I had a great week *knock on wood* and yes, I own my own site.
:)

NETBilling-Andy 03-31-2003 11:22 AM

The email only went to those clients who still needed to be converted to the new J-Post system. We originally put it together a year ago, but some of our older clients who had custom forms still had not converted, and we're at the point now where we are completing the switch to the new system with all of our clients. No worries if you hadn't received it! Not everyone needed the information.
