Perhaps, but ... come on.
When my sister died 2 years ago, we had a party for her funeral. There was rock music playing during the service. We took a shot of her favourite drink at the cemetery, etc. It was a celebration of her life more than anything else. (She liked to party!). Parties-as-funerals are not a bad thing at all. Everyone had a "good" time. It was sad, but it was good.
This event though, was anything but a celebration of life. The was a funeral for people who had been murdered by a lunatic and taken suddenly from their families and kids.
Dubya was an idiot in office and he's an idiot now.
