"Hate crime" is a legal designation tool for prosecutors to increase sentencing. Since the perp is dead, there will be no prosecution, and thus no hate crime designation.

yeah it is a hate crime, but i don't think the government will do anything about it. Government never does anything about these events.

Why do you care what the media thinks?

They are losing power every year due to social media and the interwebs. The only people who tune in are those they are successful at dividing against one another so they can get views and make more money in advert rates. :Oh crap

Whenever a sniper targets a group of people and executes them -- it is a hate crime of some sort.

Unless, the sniper is in a declared war zone killing enemy combatants -- that would be the only exception.
