Standard of living is the same here in Australia (arguably better) and the cost of living is far lower.

Man, we don't bid for immigrants. We have daily boatloads of illegals from Asia arriving daily in the hope that they can somehow jump the queue and get a piece of this action. We send them all back of course.

We have broadband internet and at current exchange rates US$50,000 a year is a pretty good fucking income here. Whay more do you need?
