We usually buy WD or seagate. Never a problem, but as said, like the idea of dust, water & shock proof :2 cents:

looks fantastic & thanks for the post AK. Problem is, we use the laptop up on our balcony & travel to friends, using the harddrives to swap content. The above would be a huge weight to carry & I definitely wouldn't want it outdoors.

Depends on the processor and config. Mine has 16GB RAM and an i7 processor cost $3000 AUD + Drives
