Easy to learn video editor that supports time lapse and deleting individual frames

I need a simple video editor to practice some time lapse and deleting individual frames. Preferably free. Any suggestions would be appreciated, I don't trust Google as much as I used to (all seo/ads)

I find Sony Vegas the easiest of the Big boys to use.

The basics are really easy. Most NLE's are pretty similar in that regard. I'd recommend AP if you already have the CC as it dovetails really nicely with the rest of Adobe's products. Also can go way deeper down the rabbit hole if needed / wanted.

To get up and running with simple edits out though you don't need to know everything, just like it's easy to "get" photoshop without needing to understand the entirety of what the software is capable of.

creativecow.net is also a good resource. Lynda.com as well if you want to pony up for a subscription - worth it for easy "get to know the software" intro videos.

Good luck!

If a dumbnut like me can use it, anyone can. I love it.

Sony Vegas is certainly easier, very user friendly, I totally recommend it.

Yes...Sony Vegas is great. Cheap, powerful and easy to use.

Been using for 10 years.
