Because not everyone thinks leftist ideology contributes to quality society, in fact the very opposite - encouraging lazies and punishing rich by "redistribution", enforcing racist discrimination (police, firefighters, universities - official race discrimination is implemented by double standard mongering leftards) is not anything any quality citizen would vote for.

The question is why so many vote democrat. Answer - lazy people want more free money handed to them which leftism is all about, rip off the rich, "redistribute" to lazies.
