We are trying something new ?.. $2200+ Content auction!
 

Right now we are finishing a small experiment selling all of our current content in an eBay auction. I do not now if this has been done before, but we thought it might be worth a try.

Have anybody else have experience in selling content by auction? I know quiet a few resources are selling advertising spots in auctions.

The result has so far been 4 bids and a happy buyer that will get all our content for $ 570 if his bid holds right to the end. (Worth more than $2200)

We hope for a little run here at the end, as auction ends in less than 2 ½ hour from now. Exactly at 12:04:36 PST

uh...........and you think this is a good thing? you are going to sell your content for 25% of what it's worth.

this baffles me... are you desperate for money? having a hard time selling? why shaft yourself out of almost 2 grand?

Its very commen to have a bulk discount price if someone buyes everything you got..... I know several other content stores that do that ....

And I do hope and think the final bid will be a little higher!

This is just an experiment for us to see what the hole lot is worth right now... and a 1 time chance for someone lucky to get a really good deal :)

We just wanted to try something new.... We have been in business for less than two months and we just wanted to try to do something in an untraditional way....

We have had some inquires of how much we wanted for the hole lot, but has turned all offers down as we thought they were too low. This might give us an indication what price we might charge for that? as this will somehow reveal the market price for a large bulk deal. For the amount of content we have now.

We do know we can not charge full price as some already have some of our content, do not like or do not have a site to use some of it?.

If we get close to a $950 I will be very satisfied with the deal, much lower I think we will rethink the auction idea!

BTW there is only 1 hour left and highest bid is still $570 but still think someone is waiting until last 10 minuets to start their bid.
