Overture may rise the grandfathered 1c bids to 5c today!
Now the directraffic area is not available (for 19 hours), and I remember when they raised the min. bid from 5c to 10c, that they said they would raise the under 5c bids to 5c on March 29th. Not those from 5c to 9c though.
So, just a reminder to check your listings when they get back online and see if this applies and delete the "free" search terms or whatever becomes highly unprofitable at 5c, in case they do this today! So that you don't lose money until you notice it. :) |
Aren't all the other people who advertise on Overture your competition? Why would you want to help them by giving them this advice?
|
Because they would just lose some more money to Ov. for a few days, not that they would abandon it for good, so it is just a courtesy for the fellow GFY'ers who may have forgotten.
|
I say let them lose money to Overture, let them lose it all. This is business.
Fast-food legend Ray Kroc once said, "If I ever saw a competitor drowning, I'd put a live fire hose in his mouth." |
I have had 3 old goto account with 2cent bids on any possible adult keywords ... sold 2 of them on ebay but still have one left ... minimum offer is 10K US ... let me know if anyone want´s it !!!

There are some alternative PPCs that get newb traffic. They still cost a penny per click. Search around.
