Who here plays what instrument and for how long? In a band?

(I wonder how many stupid replies will come from this).

Well.. I was a drummer in the country music industry for a number of years.. but that was a while back..

I played the trumpet in my high school marching band. Also had 5 years of piano lessons.

i play everything..mainly drummer...since i was 5 years old

Trumpet 29 years.

Washington Philharmonic 7 years

US Army Presidents Band, Fort Meade Maryland

Plymouth/Canton Centennial Park Maching Band - Director National Champs- 3 out of the last five years.

Eastern Michigan Univ. Brass and trumpet professor.

Professor - Interlochen School of music and fine arts.

i play electric guitar for 5 years, and now i have my own rock group.

I play guitar (along with other assorted instruments). I was in quite a few bands when I was younger, but just don't have time anymore.

I used to take classes from a student of Vinnie Moore (if anybody knows who that is).

I know the trumpet and now I'm playing the bass in a band. Been doing the punk and rock thing since '86.
The band I'm in is playing in West Palm on April 4th, if anyone's around there lemme know if you wanna see some shit.
Name of the band is Shit Talker.

i played tenor sax for about 7 years. i can also play the guitar.

Guitar Player for last 15+ years now. Had a bunch of "jam bands' just friends playing for fun, nothing too serious.

It seems that as you get older, its harder to find to time to play in bands unless you want to sacrifice alot of other things for the dream.

I sang opera professionally for several years. Gilbert and Sullivan Opera company. I'm a mezzo soprano. Yes, surprise surprise. :P

I am a classical guitar concertist.

I've been playing guitar for about 30 years now. Played in a couple of bands (mostly classic rock) as the lead guitar player and lead singer.

Now my trusty strat sits next to me in my office and I pick it up about every 2-3 months :(
