Whats the problem? Specifically.

sickkittens 03-28-2003 09:24 PM

When I open it, nothing happens (the cd's songs arent listed) - if i open and close my cd-rom, the disk starts playing on winmedia

Did you stick the cd in first and then load up cdex? Just disregard win media. Close it if it opens.

Does it show track listings just not the names of the songs?

sickkittens 03-28-2003 09:27 PM

Nope. No songs are listed.

TurboTrucker 03-28-2003 09:29 PM

To get the track names you'll have to click on options, click the Remote CDDB tab, and put in an email address. Then when you have the CD in it will list the track numbers. Click the button on the right that says CDDB and it will automatically name the tracks.

i usually use musicmatch jukebox. some people don't like it, but it works pretty slick for me...

No song titles, or nothing at all listed?

Does it list the tracks, just not the names of the tracks? Rather redundant but just trying to make sure.

Do you see your drive listed at the top?

Turbo, I did that but the button for 'CDDB' isnt lit up and I can't click it.

sickkittens 03-28-2003 09:34 PM

sickkittens 03-28-2003 10:03 PM

TurboTrucker 03-28-2003 10:45 PM

Try going to settings and the CD rom tab, see if it has your CD rom drive listed.

sickkittens 03-28-2003 10:46 PM
