the name. thats the differance.

We just watched a video in our marketing class about this. Pepsi MAX is marked in the UK as a diet drink because survey showed #1 they wanted a drink with no sugar. But they also hated the word diet because they think of fat people. So pepsi called the drink Pepsi MAX to target the 18+ group. I guess its basically the same thing in the states but is called Pepsi ONE.

to me Pepsi Max tastes more like normal Pepsi without the sugar. Diet Pepsi tastes like Diet Pepsi.

We don't have Pepsi Max here.

As far as I knew Pepsi Max was half sugar half aspartame, but maybe it's just me :P
