WTF - Cashing a Money Order...
I'm sitting here with an Postal Money Order (it's a Canada Post one) and according to my bank they cannot cash this stuff... (I'm in sweden)
WTF Should I do?? |
Whoever sent you that money order should have gotten one from a Canadian bank instead of Canada Post.
Canadian banks have relationships with Sweden banks that would allow you to deposit a money order in a Swedish bank and have the funds immediately. Ask whoever sent that to you to send you a money order from a Canadian bank, not Canada Post. |
Thanks BRISK, I thought it was something like that too... my bank refered me to the postal office, but the postal office couldn't cash it either...
Gotta fix this... |
same in UK bank is fucking about, we get a lot of mail orders from USA and didnt used to be a problem, nowdays its a nightmare.... You have to make sure they send INTERNATIONAL mail orders.
