What a load of shit TG has turned into... Matt leblanc, I love you & everything, but you're the only one worth watching the series for & sorry, that's just not enough when Chris Evans makes you want to cause massive discomfort to his face :mad:

Amazon execs must be loving this. Jezz and crew are due to start airing in a few months, I think it's actually timed with close to the end date of current season of TG. I think at this point, Top Gear are basically making it so that anything slightly better than this car crash show they are now showing, will be a massive success.

I'm easily the biggest American fan of british TG ever and i've completely lost interest in either version of the show, the new brit one or the upcoming redux amazon one. i think they (clarkson) screwed the pooch. i've even stopped watching my owned versions, i have all the episodes.

The new show starring Clarkson, Hammy & El Captitan is going to be a massive success. When I listen to the new show, it's not just the cars, it's them that make it great. So the new show will probably be better because they'll be the same but push it with faster cars, bigger boats & more amazing items with their charisma :thumbsup

british tg was more than the presenters. way more, including the incredible production team. the new version won't be able to recapture that mostly because the original production crew is not involved and they probably also can't really copy cat the original show.

I'm hoping amazon don't copy the original, that will also be annoying to watch, but still not as much as the new TG. Although, you're right saying the "original" TG was more than the presenters.

the cinematography of the british version was simply spectacular. heck even the tg test track location was cool, let alone the epic journeys, car v boat v bicycle. all well produced. speaking of those contests, the original tg could redo those contests and they would be just as fantastic, the amazon version prolly won't even go there right? legal and all.
