Windows NT is based on an operating system called VMS.
That's old IBM crap.

Anyway..

V+1 =W
M+1 =N
S+1 = T

All MS had to do is think of what 'NT' could stand for
so they figured "New Technology" would be appropiate
makeing it Windows N T..

Did that make sense?

The way I've seen it used is something like..

Title: I make a bunch of money everyday. nt

Yeah, it means No Text. You'll alse see NM used to say "No Message", same thing.

It's used when your title holds the only content, and there is nothing in the body of the message because, well, you already asked your question or made your point in the title of your post.

It's just a warning to tell you not to click on the post, because there's no content inside.

Close.... they copied IBM which was named after HAL (ahh the good ole days!) so being the self indulgent dickheads they are they copied that idea and did MS + 1 = NT
