Damn that came out of left field. Great find! Maybe the long distance thing with Edward Snowden was too much? I wonder where he'll go next?

He is denying it. Who knows who is telling the truth. But I can see people trying to set him up. He has pissed off many people.

I found TOR's disclosure odd, admitting his misconduct had been known for some time and were nothing new to everybody , then they state they are uncomfortable making judgements about his private behaviors, but then they say Tor is "working with a legal firm" specializing in sexual misconduct
So everyone knew about it and was ok with it until someone used it to force him out with a legal firm they hired, but it was his private behavior and they don't want to judge him for it. Forcing him out for alleged behavior, that they state they don't have all the facts for, is being judge & jury. Am I interpreting that correctly? Sounds dodgy |
very interesting....either someone exploited his weak points to damage his reputation and Tor's reputation or he expolited his weak points.... by himself ;-)

well, I digged into that case a little further and unfortunately these claims seem to be legit.
Jake Appelbaum is not only briliant advocate of privacy, free spech, anonymity, government accountability and so on...but also a sexual maniac and sex addict that hurted and confused many people in the community that he is engaged....... |

update: one of alleged "victims" totally denies that Mr. Appelbaum did anything wrong to her and wonders about real motives of these accusations
