PAYPAL will STOP your activities in TURKEY ?

On the 30th of May 2016, PayPal announced that the company will stop its operations in Turkey, becoming effective on the 6th of June, 2016. According to this announcement, Turkish PayPal users will not be able to send or receive payments.
PayPal states that the reason is regarding the denial of a license from the financial regulator BDDK.

Well, I am not surprised at all.

The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency.

Essentially the Government department that issues financial services licenses.

The State Greece got in, they shouldn't have a banking license.
