Judge rules Trump will be personally liable for Trump U judgement
There's one thing the media is completely ignoring.
In October 2014 New York state Supreme Court Justice Kern ruled that Trump will be PERSONALLY liable for the "class action" suit in New York. The same will happen for the class action suit in California as they pierced the corporate veil with Trump. Trump was so personally involved in promotion & finances of the company that he's personally liable. This is why Trump has dragged both open/shut cases out for so long. "It is undisputed that Mr. Trump never complied with the licensing requirements," Kern wrote in a decision made public on Wednesday. The NY attorney general (Eric Schneiderman) was on Morning Joe yesterday and said Trump tried to settle their case against him multiple times but the terms were peanuts and rejected. He also said that in NY you have to be registered, and a verified learning institution, to claim you are a university, a law Trump clearly broke. Trump was told by the New York Department of Education in 2005 to stop claiming Trump University was a university and that it was illegal to do so. Trump continued to claim university status until 2010 when the New York Department of Education had to legally force him to cease and desist. |
Nobody cares. Nobody missed anything. There are those who took the seminar, and became very successful and openly admit it.
Trump is going to steam roll the election and have the mexican judge shipped back to Mexico all in one years time :) |
AP: Greg Abbott Given $35K Campaign Donation by Trump after Trump University Probe Dropped
WASHINGTON -- Texas Gov. Greg Abbott received a $35,000 donation to his successful gubernatorial campaign from Donald Trump. This after a Texas probe into Trump University was dropped in 2010, according to the Associated Press. The AP reported that Abbott, a Republican, was serving as Texas Attorney General at the time, and opened a civil investigation of "possibly deceptive trade practices" into Trump University, but quietly dropped it when the organization agreed to end its operations in Texas. Trump subsequently donated $35,000 to Abbott's successful gubernatorial campaign, according to records obtained by the AP. |

From your AP story link: "Trump University guides unsealed this week by a federal judge in southern California undercut Trump's portrayal of his one-time real estate seminar course as an uncontroversial operation" "Instructing employees how to stall law enforcement investigations might seem like an unusual part of running a real estate seminar company. But at Trump University -- which drew investigations by Democratic and Republican attorneys general alike -- it was par for the course." |
