incredibleworkethic 06-02-2016 09:26 PM

I have a few that do about 500 Google visitors daily with about 100 posts.

I would like to get into non adult blogs. I tried one years ago. It was a stupid blog about pruning apple trees. I wrote like 5 pages about it and got a few links to it. It got fuck all for traffic. Maybe 100 hits over a month but it was so targetted i sold a few hundred dollars worth of pruning shears.

seagull 06-02-2016 10:44 PM

Yes they work. Sell on Amazon, but mostly people buy stuff i dont even advertise. Still get the comission tho.
I get chaturbate hits from a lame 4 page blog for almost a year ago.

Do blogs keep traffic? Some do, but that's the hard part.

j3rkules 06-03-2016 05:53 AM

Of course they do get a lot of traffic and make money, especially in the mainstream. Quality content is that matters the most.

AdultKing 06-03-2016 05:57 AM

I am sure the OP has asked the same question years prior. I cannot be fucked searching but MrMaxwell seems to ask a lot of dumb questions, get answers, fail to implement any knowledge acquired and then come back to GFY to ask more dumb questions :2 cents:

My blogs generate a bunch of traffic - lots of work though.

all of your hits were me. I'm really fucking into pruning apple trees

So now we happily have a whole bunch of successful bloggers here, how about posting a link to these essential sites so that we might learn a bit about success, then? Otherwise this whole thread would be nothing like hot air. No?

Colmike9 06-03-2016 11:12 AM

They're still just websites using a WP CMS, so.. maybe

teg0 06-03-2016 01:54 PM

They do, just not as easy as 7-10 years ago.

Yes of course - all my sites have been hosted with Blogspot and with the right keywords, traffic comes in without much effort. I'll post a new entry every 3-5 days with and traffic seems to be fairly consistent.

Kelli58 06-03-2016 06:12 PM

I created a mainstream blog in 2012 on wordpress. I updated it for about a year. There is probably about 40 posts total. I haven't updated it since 2013. Totally forgot about it to be honest.

Stumbled upon it yesterday and was surprised it was still getting a decent amount of traffic.

TheDynasty 06-03-2016 08:12 PM

If you have time to update your own blogs write your own text then yes their is money to be made
