There seem to be a lot of hotheads in here who seem to think so. What do you think ??

Although many of the people who do express opposition to the war also express their hate for the US. I think that's why people start to relate them...

That's not what I see at all. The "hotheads" are all on the other side of the fence. Read the threads. I haven't seen many people go off on someone just for saying "I think I am against the war." It's all these assholes wishing death on American citizens, wishing death on American soldiers, hoping for terrorism against us, accusing us of the same stupid things over and over again. How much should someone have to put up with?

I think not. But I think being a hypocrite is offensive. basking in the freedoms this country provides, and then objecting to the method that those freedoms are provided with is annoying.

Not to mention that throwing stuff at cops, and attacking businesses, as well as insulting anyone who disagrees, is extremely hypocritical of the peace movement.

This is a free country. You are allowed to express your opinion. Just be respectful. All anti war opinions are welcome; as long as it makes sense. Don't fall as low as our european friends who obviously can't come up with an intelligent reasons why they are against this war.

As far as I'm concerned everything this administration has done is anti-american and goes against what America is truly about. I'm anti-war and anti-american. I try not to let the two come out in the same way though.

Destruction in the name of peace is just plain dumb. You don't wreck cars if you're protesting a war. I think alot of these dumbass protestors saw the Seattle WTO protest videos and thought that that's what they're supposed to do in any situation. When the WTO comes around and there are protests, THE ENEMY IS IN TOWN. That's when you start flipping cars and stuff, because they're part of the WTO meetings. When you go out into the middle of the road in any random place, where's the enemy you're facing? There is none, therefore there's no need to attack anybody.

Freedom of Speech has nothing to do with your argument. You're free to speak as you will. Nobody is persecuting you. Nobody is threatening the life of you or your family to "shut up".

Freedom of Speech gives you the right to criticize the government/war, or whatever you want. Freedom of Speech also gives ME the right to criticize YOU if I disagree with your stance.

Note: I can't hit you for your opinions. But I can criticize you, all within the bounds of Freedom of Speech.
