I send those guys a template I made to put on their site, but then I get this reply on ICQ from a dude called Multani that the thing is black (LOL). I only let him put the template on the site to see if their site actually sells...

Anyone had similar experiences with this? I checked the template 20 times over, and it is fine...

I'm glad you posted here because I have to get this out of my system.....

You message me on ICQ, having no clue how my site works, not bothering to read the rules and look at other designers galleries.
So, you send me a gallery that features no sponsor, you leave it blank... that's NOT the ideia.
Anyway, I try to open the gallery, but all I get is a big black page. I chek in IE (I use Opera) , and I get a page full of crosses. Nice...
I look at the HTML and it's a big mess... I forget it.
Next day you ask me about it, I tell you it's black, you dont believe me. Then you resend it. Surprise... it's black. I have other people's galleries to work on, so I forget about it again.
The next day, I get this on ICQ:
WHY AM I STILL NOT LISTED ON THE SITE I SEND YOU THE TEMPLATE
That was it, I'm not forced to post your templates on my site, even if it's not black! Once again, I tell you it's black, once again you resend.
Now I have other templates to put online, templates that are not black, that feature sponsors, that sell. And I have exclusive work to do, that pays me. I dont have to look at your fucked up template 5 times a day. And I dont have to take shit from you on ICQ or GFY.
So, Go Fuck Yourself :321GFY

Maybe if you would have told him the first time that the files were not zipped up properlly, instead of "It's black." then the 2nd and 3rd times he sent it to you he could have fixed it and zipped them up properly?? What the hell does "It's black." mean anyways?

HungSolo the gallery was black, wich means the HTML was not linking to the images properly. It's a black page in Opera, and a page full of crosses in IE.
You have to send a zip with the html and the images, and I must see the page when I open the html file. All the other designers got this right the 1st time...


About the burritos... yes I could go to a mexican restaurant. I never did, but I am curious now.

Well what I find is sad that you didn't just work with the guy and maybe help him out in getting things sent to you correctly.

It's all part of customer service...and who knows maybe this guy would have sold more templates than any other designer on your site.

You've seen how much of a hothead viper is, why should he work with him?

eroswebmaster I understand what your saying, but you must understand that my customers are not the designers. The designers are my partners. I may have to take shit from customers with a smile on my face, but not from partners. And it's my site, so I have the right to choose my partners.

If you are trying to say I cant build my galleries just because my site has work from lots of other designers... you are wrong. But I'm not even sure that's what you were trying to say, so I wont argue.

There are very rich people in this biz who don't know dick about how to design a gallery.

There are also people in this biz who are too busy and want to farm out some of the work.

Services like this provide exactly that...a service.

If you can't figure that out, then you don't deserve to breathe.
